Overview

About this product

Class 3 20mm is the standard sub-base under VicRoads pavement designs and the most-ordered crushed rock in civil drainage and utility work. Slightly relaxed grading and plasticity limits against Class 2 make it economical, while still compacting into a dense, stable platform.

Beyond pavements it’s the default material for trench reinstatement over services, working platforms over soft ground, and sub-base under slabs and footpaths. Supplied from accredited quarries, or as recycled Class 3 crushed concrete where the spec allows, with every delivery digitally docketed.
