Melbourne Water publishes specifications for the soils used on its assets and on works that drain to them: constructed wetlands, waterway corridors, retarding basins and water sensitive urban design. The drawings call up soil profiles by name (aquatic, sub, terrestrial and turf) and the superintendent signs off against the specification.
