The heavy stuff, spalls from 100mm to 900mm for beaching, erosion protection and ground that needs armour.
Spalls are large, irregular quarry rock, from hand-sized 100mm up to 900mm armour stone. They’re placed where water or load would destroy anything smaller: creek and batter beaching, scour protection, gabion baskets, rock revetments and crane platform construction.
We supply spalls in graded size ranges to suit the design, 100–300, 300–500, 600–900, from quarries with proven durability results, delivered by tipper or float depending on size.

As a guide, this material weighs around 1.6 tonnes per cubic metre. Multiply your area by the layer depth to get the volume, then by the density. Tell us the area and depth on the quote form and we will convert it to tonnes and price the delivery for you.
