The natural path-maker, decomposed granite that compacts to a firm, golden surface.
Granitic sand is decomposed granite, a gravelly sand whose clay fraction binds under compaction into a firm, hard-wearing natural surface. It’s the material behind Victoria’s golden gravel paths, from botanic gardens to rail trails, and a council-spec staple for shared paths.
For higher traffic or steeper grades we supply it cement-stabilised (typically 2–3%) for added durability and washout resistance. Lay it, wet it, roll it, done.
