Bedding sand is a clean, screened coarse sand that screeds to a flat plane and compacts evenly, the layer that determines whether paving stays flat or grows lips and puddles. The same properties make it the standard bed and surround for stormwater and utility pipe where fine support is specified.
Available washed for the fussiest paving work, by the tonne, truck or bulka bag, alongside crusher dust where a binding bed is preferred.
