Brick sand is a fine sand with a controlled clay content that makes mortar “fatty”, it spreads smoothly, holds on the trowel and bonds brick to brick. Colour matters as much as workability: the sand drives the final mortar tone against the brick.
We supply beige, brown, orange, white and yellow brick sands so the mortar matches the architect’s intent, in bulk or bulka bags, scheduled with the rest of the build’s materials.
